DO IT BECAUSE OF GRACE

DO IT BECAUSE OF GRACE

“For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified”.1 Corinthians 2:2

Paul was saying in the above scripture that Christ died for him. Paul realized and knew where he was coming from. He knew he was a blasphemer, an injurious person and a murderer but Christ died for him. And as far as he is concerned, that’s what matters. That is the determining factor on how he functions. No wonder Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:10: “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” (KJV). In other words, Paul laboured. The grace made him to labour. Now he didn’t have to but he wanted to because he appreciated grace. He wanted to do it. It was not a struggle for him because he knew that it was the grace of God.
Child of God, when you remember the price He paid on your behalf which He didn’t have to, it will determine how you function. When you see Jesus, there are things you won’t struggle with. But the issue is have you seen Him? If your answer is truly a ‘yes’, it then means that you won’t struggle with winning souls. You won’t struggle to come to church services. It won’t be a struggle to pray and to fast, because you have seen Jesus. When you see Him, every other thing loses value, even your money.
Can you save yourself with your money! Beloved, even your money is too cheap to save you. Can you save yourself with fasting or can you save yourself because you are praising? No! Your money, your fasting and your praise are too cheap to save you. It takes the blood! When you understand and appreciate that life was laid down for you, then you will not struggle. The issue is, we say it with our lips but, we don’t truly comprehend the price.
