NOTHING CAN WITHSTAND GOD’S WORD

NOTHING CAN WITHSTAND GOD’S WORD

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11

There is nothing the devil fashioned that is strong enough to withstand God’s word. God upholds all things by the word of His power. God is not a man that He should lie. He is not the son of man that He should repent. If He said it, you can take it to the bank. Once He has spoken it, it is a done deal. It is written: “Therefore, thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste” (Isaiah 28:16 KJV).

Stop looking around, stop being anxious or harassed. You should be relaxed knowing that it is already settled. Why are you worrying yourself about what has been settled? That financial situation has been settled. If God can take care of ants, you are more valuable than ants. Just believe Him!

You see, God never intended for us to be worried about anything. As believers, everything about us has already been settled. It is our refusal to rest that is denying us from experiencing what God intended. If you are working, God will not be working. He that keeps you does not slumber nor sleep. So why are you refusing to sleep? Why are you all stressed up and looking so worried?  Rest and watch him do what He specializes in doing. He is a specialist in handling those situations. Praise God!

The Church must learn that the only labour we are called to is the labour to rest. In order words, labour to believe Him. That is all! Find out the promises He has made to you and simply latch on to them believing that He cannot lie. That is all it takes.
