“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.” (Psalms 42:1 KJV)

Let God build for you. When you hang around Him, He will show you what He is building in your life. Leave Him in His own class. What is all this struggling in your Christian life? He has only given us one singular pursuit, and that was what made David outstanding. It was what made Jesus outstanding. We are supposed to just come out of the closet and replicate what He has shown. That was how Jesus lived. You will always see Jesus moving from the place of ministry into God’s presence. That was why His words carried such power. And the people said we have not seen a man speak with so much authority.

Jesus said it is not me. I am living my life from the mouth of my Father. As I hear, I judge. They saw Him raise the dead. They saw Him cast out devils. They saw Him multiply the loaves. They saw Him speak to the storm. And they exclaimed what manner of man is this? He said my Father worketh hitherto and I work. In other words, I hang around Him. Once I see what He is doing, I do it. What is the principle here? I live based on the words from the lips of my Father. I place my ears close to his lips, and so I do whatever he says do.

Now I know why Paul said: “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14 KJV) Paul reached out to what was before, because what lies ahead is always greater. Some of you think you have seen the best of your life. No!  Your best life is still ahead of you. You have seen nothing yet. Press in for more of God. There is more in Him. Keep on attending church services and open your heart to Jesus. Pretty soon we shall see a different you, because God will take you to another level.
