Speak It Into Manifestation

Speak It Into Manifestation

Dearly Beloved, I bring you greetings in the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ the Son of the living God and our soon coming King. It is with great joy that I welcome you to the first Sunday in the year 2018, our year of Commanded Blessing. I believe without any shadow of doubt in my heart that this year will be filled with incredible harvest for you, God will exceed all of your expectations, only the sound of rejoicing will be heard from your household. I’m so excited because I know that the Blessing of God is manifesting in every area of your life in an unprecedented way, so remain expectant. This morning I have come to admonish you to open your mouth and speak your expectations. There are about 358 blank pages waiting for you to write on, what are you going to write?

Hebrews 10:23 (NKJV) says “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Paul in the book of Hebrews instructed us to hold on to our confession. That means keep speaking the word until you see your desires. He tells us not to waver, meaning there’ll be occasions to want to give up and say it’s not working. ‘I’ve been confessing for one week, one month and nothing has changed’, Paul says don’t stop, keep speaking it, because He who made the promise is too faithful, He can never ever fail. The problem with a lot of people is that they give up to easily, and so they declare the word for one week, one month, and then they stop, but the Bible tells us to keep speaking because it will manifest. Why? Because it is not your word, the One who spoke it watches over His word to perform it. This year, you must make up your mind to speak only your expectations according to His word. Don’t speak according to what you are feeling or what your circumstances are telling you, speak what He has said concerning you. Proverbs 12:14a (NKJV) tells us “A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth,…” Did you see that? You can tell what you are speaking by what is manifesting in your life.

God has declared unto us that this is our year of Commanded Blessing, and like I wrote last week, it is irreversible, but you activate these blessings by your confession. Like I have said many times before blessings are deployed by words. In the book of Genesis when God blessed the man, the Bible tells us in chapter 1:22 that “God blessed them saying…” even when Isaac blessed his sons, he spoke the blessing. Therefore in order for you to walk in Commanded Blessings this year, you must open your mouth and speak it into manifestation. Don’t go about parroting what the devil is doing, or the challenges you are currently faced with, even in the face of contradictory evidence, declare God’s Word. Inherent in the Word of God is the power to produce that which it says.

In Genesis chapter 1, God gives us a perfect example of what our response should be when we are faced with challenging situations. Verse 2 says that the earth was without form and void and there was darkness everywhere. But in verse 3, God declared His expectation. He said let there be light, and light manifested. As children of God, that should be our stand, we must commit ourselves to declaring the Word, and holding onto it without wavering until we see it manifest. Don’t you ever forget that He who promised is faithful, and He will bring it to pass.

From the 10th to the 31st of January, we are going into a time of prayer and fasting, to set the course for the year and to make sure that we are properly positioned to receive all that God has ordained for you this year. We will be having daily prayer sessions from 9a.m – 11a.m and 5p.m – 6p.m and in those sessions, we will be declaring what God has said concerning us. Avail yourself of the opportunity to attend these sessions, don’t take them for granted because I’m the place of unity, God Commanded His Blessing (Psalms 133:1-3) so let’s come together and declare with one voice.

Beloved this year has a lot of great things in store for you and you shall partake of it all. You will not miss out on God’s Commanded Blessings for you this year. I will hear your testimonies. I bless you in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Maranatha!

Dr. Mike Okonkwo
