“Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.” Joel 2:21 (KJV)

Every move of God is always accompanied by waves of recovery. I know that the previous year might not have ended on a bright note for you, but I come to encourage you that there is recovery for you. When the Lord said, this is your year of new things, it is because He is set to do great things in your life.

It is not about what the World Economic Summit is saying, I am talking about what God is saying. There is a Goshen for you. Your case is different, this is your time and season of recovery. However, you will only experience it if you believe it. Remember what we leant a few days ago, about believing? Take God by His word. Be assured that it is totally impossible for the word of God to fall to the ground. Heaven and earth my pass away, but not the word of God. God’s word is infallible and errorless. He says what He means and means what He says. Understand that your times are in His hands. He does not work according to man’s calendar; He has His plan well laid out and it is for your good.

Just stop to think: what would have happened if Joseph had been released from the prison when he interpreted the dream of the butler and the baker? Would he have been found when Pharaoh had a dream? Maybe not. Think again, what if, out of bitterness, he refused to take care of the butler and the baker when they came into prison? After all, they were all prisoners, would the Butler have had anything to remember him by?

Child of God, no matter what you are going through right now, it is not the end. God has you in mind. His thoughts towards you are thoughts of peace. He has a future, a bright future, in store for you. You are not here by accident, neither are you reading this by chance, hold on to this word, wipe your tears and blow your nose, there is recovery for you in Jesus’ name.
