YOU ARE MIGHTY IN CHRIST

YOU ARE MIGHTY IN CHRIST

“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.” (Judges 6:12 KJV)

Whether we like it or not there is a battle going on in the realm of the spirit. And it is getting stronger and stronger because the devil knows that he is running out of time. The devil is shooting at random, hoping that he will get somebody who has lost his place. But there is a place that God has prepared for you so that when the enemy is shooting he does not get you. You ought not be worried but be relaxed knowing that our God is at work and whatever he has started shall be perfected. If you don’t know how to comport yourself you can still be a believer and the devil will lord it over you because you don’t know how to position yourself spiritually.

According to Judges Chapters 6, the Israelites would labour only for the Midianites to take their harvest. Then God appeared to Gideon and said the Lord is with you, you mighty man of valour. And Gideon said: If the Lord is with us where are the miracles, where are those promises you made? Why are we encountering these challenges? Why are things turning upside down for me? Some of us have been asking similar questions. If God is with me, why am I still sick? Why have I not gotten that job? Why am I still experiencing financial difficulties and challenges?

Now notice what God said to Gideon: “Go in this your might.” God was saying in essence: I believe in what I have put inside you. The fact is that some of us don’t have faith in what we have. We don’t trust what God has put in us though we keep quoting “greater is he that is in me, than he that is in the world.” The question is do you really believe that the greater one lives inside you? Do you really believe that you are mighty in Christ? I announce to you today that the powers of this world will not prevail over you.
