YOU ARE NOT ORDINARY

“I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High”

Psalm 82:6

Do you know that birds don’t struggle to fly? When you release a bird it just glides into the air. No matter the famine in the jungle the lion will not eat grass. The lion doesn’t struggle in the jungle. Likewise, the fish does not struggle to swim. The fish can only struggle when you bring it out of its natural environment. Then it will begin to suffocate. In the same vein, the believer is not expected to struggle. God expects you to reign as kings on earth.

However, you struggle when you are in the wrong place – in the wrong environment. A lion gives birth to a lion; a goat reproduces goats. Likewise, God gives birth to gods. You are in the class of God. He made you in His image. He made you in His likeness. The problem with you is that you see yourself as an ordinary human being. Others can be ordinary but not a child of God. If any man be in Christ, he is a brand new being that has never existed before. Therefore, you are not ordinary. You can do what others cannot do. There is a heritage that belongs to you and God wants you to function in it.

Today, there is too much struggle among believers. It seems as if God delivered you to experience problems. No! God is so good that He has nothing bad to give to you. Believers have a good heritage. It is wrapped up in the finished work of Christ.

All that Jesus died for are legally yours, but if you sleep on your rights, there is absolutely nothing God can do. All that God can do, He has done; it is left to you to enforce your rights. Look into the word of God and constantly declare it to yourself until you become one with it and when you do, everything about you will change to conform with your image that is firmly ingrained in your innermost being.
