“For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:” (Romans 8:3 KJV)

Christ died so that you could live your life under grace. What does that mean? It means by accepting what He did for you, He discharged, acquitted and stopped the entire case against you. There is no appeal, and the case is closed. You should not live your life with fear, condemnation, inferiority or accusation. You have been made right with God and there is nothing you can do that can negate your right-standing with Him. He made you right. It is a gift that God gave to you as a believer. If you don’t understand these things your faith will be affected because you will be thinking that you are not right. You see, you can never be right with the law. The law is not meant to make you right. The law is meant to condemn you. Romans 3:20 says “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”  Romans 7:7 says “…Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.”

Child of God, the assignment of the law is to tell you how bad you are, and how rotten you are. The law is good for unbelievers and not for believers. It is good for unbelievers to see how bad they are and make them run to the Saviour. That is what drove us to the Saviour. The law reveals our weakness, our shortcoming, our rottenness in and out, and then drives us to the solution that has been provided. Jesus! Jesus is the solution. If you have not run to Him, run to him today without delay.

Running to Jesus is simply accepting His Lordship over your life. All you need to do is to believe in your heart that He paid the full price and confess it with your mouth. Once the heart and mouth connection is there, your salvation is sure.
