“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;” (Philippians 3:10 KJV)

Many believers are suffocating because they are in the wrong environment. Christianity is not meant to be suffocation, it is life! A higher life! God’s kind of life! When you function the way He wants you to function, then you will live the abundant life, which He has ordained for you. When you are on the ground that He made for you, then the whole of heaven will be behind you. And if God be for you, who can be against you? But it takes knowledge to locate and stand on your ground.

Beloved all you need is God in your situation, God in your family, God in your business, God in your marriage, God in your academics, and God in your ministry. When God is there, all forms of struggle will fizzle out. You will see God fight for you. You will see great testimonies in your life. It is important, therefore, that the excellency of the knowledge of Christ becomes our object of pursuit.

Before Paul encountered Jesus on the way to Damascus, he had always gloried in his achievements and his education. But from the moment he encountered Jesus, his attitude changed dramatically. In the book of Philippians 3:8, Paul declares: “Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,” From that moment forward, Paul’s pursuit became different. “That I may know him” In other words if I know him, there will be no failure, no defeat and no frustration. If I know Him, money will come. If I know Him my education will be meaningful. If I know Him, whatever condition I find myself in, I am guaranteed success. When you have God you can never fail. When you have God nothing will be able to stop you.
